Neil seems to be carrying out major renovation work at the Horrobin's house. But I believe this is a local authority property, so surely he would only be able to do this after the landlords written agreement and then only after quotations by other builders. Or have I missed a point somewhere? Or is a future plotline budding?

I would imagine the local authority would insist on a qualified plumber - probably once he's finished an official will pop round and order the lot ripped out.

Yes, and even if permission is granted, there is no way it would be done this quickly.

Am I right in thinking that Susan and Neil are unaware that Tracey has kind of had the house signed over to her...?

It was horrible to listen to what she did to her poor old dad in his grief, so I really hope this character gets her comeupance.
