The bows and arrows are out this week, but who’s in the firing line?...
Elizabeth continues to wrestle with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, aided and abetted by a weary David. As Brookfield begins to crumble, and with Ruth calling the shots, David finally decides to bite the bullet. However, he’s soon steered off course by some surprising news at Lower Loxley, where the truth finally hits home.
Hitting the mark
A concerned Kenton takes a shot in the dark, only to discover he may be right on target. Could it be just the shot in the arm Jolene needs to get her back on the straight and narrow, and might it even result in a bullseye for The Bull?...
Meanwhile, Pat and Tony won’t butt out of Helen’s life, but having given single motherhood her best shot, she begins to waver… Emma’s in like a shot with Clarrie, while Susan feels short of the mark… and Jennifer has a plan in her sights that just might save the day for Phoebe.
So get shot of your worries and find your mark… It’s The Archers!
Don’t miss Tuesday’s episode when March gets off to quite a start, and listen in on Friday when there’s news at Lower Loxley…

We all love home sweet home, but some villagers are strangers to their own this week…
Unlike Kathy, Tony is desperate for Helen to stay under his roof, but you know what they say, home is where the heart is, and in Helen’s case that is wherever Henry is. Despite her parents’ concerns, Helen is happy in her bijou residence and has no desire to move any time soon. Tony makes do with taking charge of little Henry, and they get on like a house on fire.
Meanwhile, Brian swaps Home Farm for Paris, but it’s home from home as he struggles to leave Ambridge behind, plagued by an eager Matt and Lilian. Jolene also deliberates putting her house in order and shaking off Ambridge. As The Bull fails to bring home the bacon, could it be time for Jolene to relocate?
Close to home
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is very much home alone, frantically trying to maintain Lower Loxley without her right hand man. David thinks he’s on the home straight, but you never know what’s around the corner. A day off... what’s that when it’s at home?!
Ruth is desperate to get David back to Brookfield. We’ve heard it said a woman’s place is in the home, but this is ridiculous! With David staying out until the cows come home, Ruth attempts to keep the home fires burning, but it may prove more than she can handle.
Make yourself at home in Ambridge… It’s The Archers!
David comes to the rescue on Wednesday and the plot thickens on Friday…

Monday: The future looks bright
Tuesday: Nodding off
Wednesday: Going it alone
Thursday: Home sweet home

Tasters 12-18th February 2011
With Valentine’s Day on Monday, love is in the air this week in Ambridge…
Ian’s is a labour of love in the Grey Gables kitchen as he perfects his special menu for the royal visit; the guests had better watch out for love handles! They say that everybody loves a lord, but Lynda loves a lady – well a duchess anyway. Can she get close to the object of her adulation, or will her plans to receive some royal attention go to pot?
Love at first sight
Ruth can’t get David to stay at home for love nor money, but even David makes time for a little romance this week, and it’s love at first sight when Pip sees her 18th birthday present. Meanwhile, over at Lower Loxley Elizabeth is lonely, missing Nigel’s romantic gestures, but she’s showered with love from her children.
There’s no love lost between Hayley and Kate as they continue to row over Phoebe’s trip. Jazzer proves wonting as a Don Huan, while Harry fairs a little better, but then the course of true love never did run smooth… And Kirsty senses love is in the air, but is met with mixed emotions.
Remember that love begets love, so show someone you care and indulge your true love… It’s The Archers!
Don’t miss the royal visit on Wednesday, and Pip’s party on Thursday…
Sunday: Preparation is everything
Monday: Double disaster
Tuesday: The best laid plans
Wednesday: Catching the wave
Thursday: In the driving seat
Friday: Mixed messages
Loved up: Harry, Kenton?
Love lost: Elizabeth, Jill

Many Ambridge residents lead a double life this week, doing double duty to dodge double trouble…
While Jazzer and Harry dabble in double dating, David struggles to cope with double the work. Wishing he could clone himself, David’s divided loyalties make standing in for Nigel tougher than he could have imagined.
Parent swap
Meanwhile, Phoebe is keen to trade in one set of parents for another, and is surprised when those involved voice objections. Given Kate’s recent record for swapping families, perhaps it’s no wonder she thinks it’s so easy.
Also this week: Lynda persuades Caroline that two heads are better than one, Ruth redoubles her efforts, Brian wonders if he’s being double crossed, and Matt works on two schemes at once. It’s twice the trouble and two times the fun so tune in… It’s The Archers!
Don’t miss Lynda at her worst/best on Tuesday and Matt makes an interesting proposal on Friday…
Sunday: Ruth takes the reins
Monday: Phoebe makes plans
Tuesday: Lynda gets her way
Wednesday: Pat makes amends
Thursday: Brian’s bothered
Friday: Matt makes a move
Seeing double: Brian, Matt
Could do with a doppelganger: David, Ruth
